The Mind is what Matters

We talk about discipline in so many different areas of our lives. Exercise, eating habits, study time, and in our careers. But what if you only had to master discipline in one area to improve your entire life? It would be so much easier to focus on one thing, and the fruit you bare from that one thing could be seen in other areas of your life.

Well that one thing is your mind. When you discipline your mind you gain control of your actions. Mind control is a result of self discipline and habit. Gaining control of your thoughts will take daily exercise and a definite change in the spiritual food you eat.

Once you have developed a positive routine you will notice inner change. You will have a new normal. The things you did before will no longer be an automatic reaction, because you've disciplined your mind.

Make a conscious decision to change your reaction to small everyday things. For example if your running late for an appointment and traffic is really bad. Instead of becoming even more anxious and frustrated, take breath and speak a more positive result into existence.

I am running late, but I will make it there soon

I will just leave earlier next time

I will remain calm and focus on driving safely

The secret to a disciplined mind is owning what you can control and releasing what you can not.
